Corey Lajoie claims he is ‘going to win a race’ with Spire Motorsports in 2024
Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

The 2023 season witnessed some major plays in the market, and one of the significant ones was the sudden development at Spire Motorsports. The Chevy team made multiple investments in 2023 and even bought the Kyle Busch Motorsports assets to expand their race shop. They are set to field three cars from next season.

The team will be field cars for Corey LaJoie, Carson Hocevar, who was hired as Ty Dillon ’s replacement, and Zane Smith, who was loaned to them by Trackhouse Racing for next season. Lejoie, who has been the team’s No:1 driver for multiple years, believes that with their investments this season, he could win a race in 2024 and secure a playoff spot.

So, we’re going to win. I would be very upset and probably frustrated and feel like internally we probably didn’t meet our marks if we didn’t win or find ourselves in the playoffs. LaJoie told Siruxm NASCAR.

The Stalking Pennis podcast co-host becoming a frontrunner will be good news for the sport as he is one of the most marketable drivers on the grid with a strong fan base despite being winless in the top tier. His potential success with Spire Chev’s can greatly keep the fans entertained next season.
